Founder, Sophie Wallace
My name is Sophie Wallace, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my small business. Born and raised in the beautiful city of Ottawa, Ontario Canada in 1996, I've had the pleasure of calling this place home for my entire life.
Fashion design and styling have always been my passions, and I owe it all to my mom's incredible influence. In addition, my family has a deep-rooted history in textiles, with my grandfather establishing the renowned Riopelle Fabrics store in Ottawa. It's safe to say that creativity runs in the family!
Our Story
My journey into designing bags began in 2022 when I started sewing. I quickly discovered a true love for creating pieces. The inspiration behind Blossom and Bloom came from a simple desire to have a cute and versatile bag that could accompany me on various occasions - from grocery shopping to relaxing park outings, and even exciting travel adventures.
Frustrated with the options available in the market, I embarked on a mission to source beautiful fabrics that would truly make a statement. I handpicked each fabric from Liberty, ensuring that every design had a unique and eye-catching appeal.
At Blossom and Bloom, I believe that a bag should be more than just a practical accessory. It should be an expression of personal style, a reflection of individuality, and a source of joy.
